Chair for Materials Science and Engineering

Susanne Jordans works with a modern high resolution, orientation imaging environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM). Her focus is on performing in-situ nanoindentation and micro tensile experiments at room temperature and at elevated temperatures. Susanne Jordans supports research projects which aim at rationalizing mechanical materials behavior on a micro mechanical basis. She, moreover, supports metallography work and performs investigations using optical microscopy.
