Chair for Materials Science and Engineering

Norbert Lindner is responsible for the scanning electron microscopes (SEMs) and the associated infrastructure. He helps setting up in-situ experiments (heating/cooling, tensile testing, nano indentation) in the SEM. He shows undergraduate and graduate students how to use the SEMs. And he performs microstructural investigations and failure analysis.
