Chair for Materials Science and Engineering

Klaus Neuking looks after personnel matters at the Chair for Materials Science and Engineering. He is in charge of safety at work and prepares and plans construction and reconstruction measures. He is responsible for the organization of larger research projects and takes care of mechanical materials testing and of X-ray diffraction. He is moreover involved with mechanical testing and with the digital registration and evaluation of experimental data. Klaus Neuking is scientific secretary of the SFB/TR 103. His research focuses on the properties of polymers. He teaches classes on the use of computers in materials technology and on the morphology and properties of engineering polymers.
