Chair for Materials Science and Engineering

Dietmar Rose is in charge of the thermal (DSC experiments) and mechanical (tensile test and high temperature constant strain rate tests) characterization of engineering materials. He looks after the swaging machine and takes care of a polymer extruded. He is in contact with the test system manufacturers, independently performs test series and shows undergraduate and graduate students how to operate sophisticated test rigs.
